Karin Emprechtinger, the executive director of the Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation, paid the Center an inaugural visit from October 15-19, 2026. Ms. Emprechtinger got to know the Center and the LSU New Orleans campus and held meetings with Interim Chancellor Jeanette L. Weiland, Provost and Senior Vice President Dr. Darell Kruger, and Scott Pentzer, Assistant Provost for International Education.
