Details: Ms. Sorensen is the Senior Advisor and National Advocate at the United Nations Foundation in New York. She is an expert on matters related to the United Nations and the United States-United Nations relationship.

She addresses audiences countrywide, as diverse as Rotary International and the Air Force Academy; university students; staff and Members of Congress; newspaper editorial writers and television correspondents. Before coming to the United Nations Foundation, Ms. Sorensen served as Assistant Secretary-General for External Relations on appointment by Secretary-General Kofi Annan.
